Training

We design, develop and implement training solutions based on an analysis of your organization's needs. We increase organizational resilience by building in-house expertise that will make your workforce more agile, efficient, and better prepared to cope with change.

The Systems Approach to Training (SAT) model simplifies and standardizes complex training into manageable subsets. The methodology includes analysis of tasks your team needs to perform on the job competently, the definition of performance standards, drafting curriculum, preparing blueprints for training, and developing training materials and evaluation strategies.
I. ANALYSIS
Job Analysis is performed to determine what the job holder must know or do on the job. The product of a job analysis is a verified list of all duties and tasks performed on the job.
Task Analysis is performed to determine the job performance requirements for each task. Job performance requirements include a task statement, conditions, standard, and performance steps.
Tasks analysis incorporates compliance requirements defined in industry standards and federal regulations.
In the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare organizations, the instructional setting typically combines online tutorials with hands-on workshops and individual or teamwork on specific project assignments.
II. DESIGN
The goal of the design phase is to simulate as closely as possible the real-world job conditions within the instructional environment.
  • Write Target Population Description defines the student population entering a course. The audience can range from fresh life science graduates to medical professionals who are experts in their field.
  • Conduct Learning Analysis to develop the learning objectives, test items, and design methods and media.
  • Sequence Learning Objectives to allow students to make logical transitions from one subject to the next. Sequenced learning objectives provide efficient instruction and serve as a draft course structure.
III. DEVELOPMENT
The Develop Phase of Systems Approach to Training builds on the outcomes of the previous phases. The outputs include Course Description, the Program of Instruction, and the Master Lesson File. Lesson Materials comprise of lesson plans, supplemental student materials, media, and the Train the Trainer program.
Constructing a test involves aligning test items with learning objectives and providing ample instructions to the student, to the evaluation, and developing the grading criteria for each test given in the course.
IV. IMPLEMENTATION
During the Implementation phase, instructors deliver the instruction, test, and conduct after-lesson management. The purpose is to ensure the transfer of student knowledge and skills to the job. The role of the curriculum developer and instructor may, and typically does differ. Subject matter experts can make adjustments to ensure comprehension.
V. EVALUATION
Evaluation of the instructional program's effectiveness and efficiency permeates all phases of the program. The results are used to assess student performance and validate and revise instruction and improve the course.
